[2008_05_10] Lost In Japan Day 01- Fukuoka Ramen Day!!!

Today is the first day in japan, din reli travel very far today... Only check in to the hostel N visited the nearby shopping mall called Canal City. Well... Today ish know as the Ramen Day, ate Ramen the whole day!!! Wooot! I Shall start the journey right before we landed in Fukuoka.
This is the first sight of Fukuoka after soaring above the vast "sea of clouds" N the blue sea.
This is Fukuoka Airport, as can be seen we started the day wet... It was drizzling lightly when we landed, which is around Singapore time 7am N Japan time 8am.
The "BEST" thing is that all the "parking lot for the arrival planes are fully occupied, in order not to waste time... The pilot arranged for the above to happen. That is to let us alight from the plane some where not far off from the airpork. This is my first time lor!

This Graduation trip has quite a number of first times lah but don have that kind of first time leh... Sianz This is the first time that i go overseas with my friends and also the first time i'm traveling via Singapore Airlines. It is cold to walk out there, I remembered the wind is strong. But... It is very shiok ah the wind, strong N cold, a feeling that you wont get to enjoy in Singapore naturally (You wan can la, On air-con N blast the fan lor but i doubt u can get this temperature... You will find out soon...)
As it is raining, it is arranged for us to use this ANA umbrella (but i took SQ leh, no SQ umbrellas???) to walk to the airpork. Wondering why Kelvin is so happy? Cos we thought that "Wha! So good service ah! Raining only, N they give us an umbrella." den on e of the guys was saying: "Heng ah, i never bring along an umbrella. C! They got give!" For a moment i was like... Wha liew... If only i knew this would happen den , i oso don bring umbrella lah. Well i got bring along lah as my aunt advices me to bring 1 for the rainy days...

Well... moments later i don feel likewise liaoz cos the staffs are collecting the umbrellas from us as we enter the airpork building. Whahaha, we were all laughing... How foolish to think that way...
Well I Gei Kiang go take this photo of Velven N Kelvin while we are filling in the form for non-residents. Den... I tio halt... A Baba (Aunty) come N tell me something abt shashin... I was quite lost but i just return a sumimasen.... OMG!!! Wat happened??? Den Tat-kun tells me that I cant take photos in there... Low... Luckily they never detain me, else i would have wasted everyone's time...
After we left the customs, we are immediately greeted by this statue, should be some festival ba... Well i'm not sure... Mayb can go ask Uncle George when he is more free.
Alright ladies N gentlemen, let me shoooooooooow u the waaaaaaaaaay... eh Alric ah? Eh Alric leh??? how to go to the hostel huh? Anyway, we took a bus (It's free if i did not remember wrongly) that tours around the airpork N drop us at the subway.
Piang eh!!! only 12 degrees la! I tot it is 20 degress.... It's kind of cold siah... Interesting siah, they have these big big display to tell us the current temperature... Err.... that 1 not telling us how low the DAIKIN Air-con can go rite???
Check it out man, the train ride to errr... wat stop huh costs 250 yen, equivalent to S$3.25... quite ex siah, I take from Boon Lay to Pasir Ris oso lesser la...
After walking for some time we finally reached our hostel KHAOSAN Fukuoka. As we don have much plans for the day, we went over to one of the biggest shopping mall in Hakata, known as Canal City... Got a bit lost here N there but in the end we still reached Canal City. Well... It was decided that we hav Ramen for lunch. There is a Ramen arena that sells a lot a lot of Ramen... I think there are at least 20 stalls up there.
Yeah this is my Lunch for the day! It is delicious but a bit too salty for me.
Alric, Kiat N Me
Tat-kun, Velven, Wilson N Kelvin
After Lunch ish just some window shopping in Canal City. Here is the Jump Shop that sells manga related stuffs.
走着,走着,we ended up at this temple which is a place of interest as well... Mai tu liaoz, Photo time!!! Particularly liked this picture... Finds it interesting... Check out the 2 passion guy taking photo N the other 2 posing for photo... Cool... Wait a minute... Where Vel N Alric???
This is my dinner! It tastes better den the one that i have earlier. It costs 700 yen with 150 yen worth of 加面.This is the guy who serves us, he speaks a bit of English which makes our lives much easier. Furthermore, he is very friendly n passionate in serving us as he tries to recommend their Ramen to us.
This the Ramen shop!
This Ossan sells Takoyaki in a van, c he so 合作,even posed for the picture.
His Takoyaki ish ultra nice la!, got a lot of cheese on top 1.
